How to start a blog and earn more money

I have received a lot of questions through my email from you readers (you know who you are) and personally I would like to thank you guys for keep on reading my blog and really believing in what I do. And I hope our journey in making money through online will not be just a dream anymore. I hope you already started your own money making site by now. Don't just read, DO IT! -have to start somewhere anyhow-

I guess one of the most hot topics in a blog is how to make money online. Well if you think of it of course it makes sense as we people love money. I mean who doesn't like the idea of working from home and still be able to make money online right? But I hate to say that it is not as easy as all of you would think of. Blogging is not a night's work as it can take years of your patience and hardwork before you can reach the goal of making a steady stream of income through blogging. Unless you have all the secret formula, a good traffic and the knowledge to creating a good blog that people loves.

Making money through online takes up a lot of patience from you. It is not a success that you can built overnight. But it would help you a lot if you don't think of your blog as your money making site at first. You just need to focus more on creating good contents and also spend more time on promoting your blogs after you have a readable blog that everyone can enjoy reading.

Let me show you some of the ways you can make money by blogging.

1. First, you need a blog.

Of course you need to create a blog in order for you to have a place to write your thoughts and share your knowledge to others. First, I'd like you to have a mindset that you need to treat your blog as your business and you are the owner of the business. So as a business owner, you would want to attract buyers or readers to notice your blog so as to attract investors and customer.

You can start a blog for free at blogger.com or wordpress.com. There is always a debate on which blog platform works best but in my personal opinion I love blogger more that wordpress. Due to its simplicity, and they let you place ads on your blog. But it lacks some useful widgets that you can only get on wordpress. But as always, you need to spend a bit on hosting if you want to create a paid wordpress platform before you can start making money online. 

You can also use webhosting services like:

1. Bluehost. 

2. Hostgator.

2. Choose a niche for your blog.

There are thousands of niche that you can choose for to start your own blog. The key important think is that you want to choose a niche that is hot and a lot of people are interested about the topics that you will write. The key important thing is that you need to know a lot about the topic so that you will have a lot of ideas to write about in your blog.

3. Creating a good and rich content.

There is no magic formula to a great blog that have a strong fan base and loyal readers than to a blog that is full with good and rich content. This very important. A lot of bloggers makes mistake by thinking that they can make money online by just slapping advertisements on their blog hoping that the readers will click on them without creating a good content on their website. 

Readers are very important and special to a business owner. This is because they are the potential investor and also customer for your business. Readers are also human so we like to be treated as equal. Our content needs to have a heart and also the readers can feel the connection with the one who writes the articles. Although I'm still very weak in writing which is why I train myself to write, write and write and read as much as possible for other blogs that have a great content so that I can improve in my writings. You just need to find a blog that you feel connected to and try to implement the styles of the bloggers writing for your own blog.

4. Build your own email list. (Email Marketing)

I have made a lot of mistake by not building my own email list of readers from the start of my journey to make money online. Building your own email list is also a very important tool as a blogger and also and internet marketer. Some succesful bloggers quotes that this is where the money actually is. Aweber let's you do the job easily for creating and building your email list. 5. Search for affiliate products.

Affiliate marketing programs is also one of the ways that you can make money by blogging. This is what you should focus on if you haven't had been approved for google adsense. You just have to register as an affiliate for a certain product and place ads on your website. You can promote them if you like it. Make sure that you are creative enough to promote the products that you are promoting on your website. Give your honest review to the readers so that they can get real benefits from the product instead of wasting money on buying bad  products. This will give a great impact to your blog as your honest review will somehow create a greater trust between you and your readers. 6. Apply for Google Adsense

Applying for google adsense publishing program is also a smart way to earn money online. I personally love this program as it brings a steady income for my blog. It's not much but it is actually enough for me to spend for my cravings for coffee or get me a good meal anywhere I like. If you still don't know what google adsense is? It is actually a program for publishers and blog owners like us to place ads on our websites and if your visitor are interested in those ads and clicks it, you own a portion of the advertisement fees provided by the google between them and the companies who place those ads.
